After retiring from my practice in 2023, Dilly and I seized the opportunity to go on an extended holiday for the first time. We decided to tour North America over nine weeks. Given the vastness of the continent, we limited our trip to a few key destinations: starting with Washington D.C. and New York City, then heading to Canada. In Canada, we began in Toronto, moved on to Calgary, explored the Rockies, and eventually arrived in Vancouver. From there, we spent time exploring Vancouver Island before embarking on a cruise through Alaska's Inner Passage. Our journey concluded in Seattle, from where we flew home.
